So the T-shirt dress is something that I have seen a lot of fashion blogger posting about this season. I can see why, it is a classic look that is great for the spring, summer and early fall. I came across this Tahari Belted T-shirt dress at Nordstrom. It was $89 there but I found the same dress for under $50 at Nordstrom Rack. It came in petite sizing which was great for me, but it only came in a 6P. I took a chance and I think it fits fairly well. To complete the outfit, I paired it with my Frye Blake sandals and my Gucci Soho Disco purse. Hats are not something I typically wear, but I thought the outfit needed something a little extra so I paired it with my Janessa Leone Calla Bolero hat.
As a busy professional, I typically take my fashion photos either first thing in the morning or on weekends. It was pouring rain all day when I planned to take these pictures, and I thought for sure the day would be a wash. Luckily the weather cleared up just enough in the evening that we were able to take these photos just before going out for a nice sushi dinner. It was the perfect outfit for a family evening get together.
