I am loving that midi dresses are in style right now. I just think they are so feminine (and some might say they are a throwback to the 50’s). When I found this Alice and Olivia white midi skirt earlier this summer I thought it was beautiful. It had a pretty high price tag though so I decided to defer. When I saw it went on sale for under $100 I knew it was time to buy. This is a skirt that I think is so classic that it will be good for many seasons. I wanted to keep this look light and fresh, so I paired it with a basic sleeveless blouse I got from Ann Taylor. Honestly, this blouse was a small and it was about two sizes too big for me. One thing that I have encountered as I have lost weight, is that really I should be wearing XS and sometimes XXS, especially from stores like Ann Taylor and J. Crew.
These pictures were taken in Ann Arbor at the University of Michigan law campus. I feel so fortunate to live here where such great architecture is just a few minutes from my home. Walking around there you feel like you are back in Cambridge. I could walk around there all day and just admire the beautiful buildings.
