It’s been a few weeks since I posted one of my work outfits. With the change of seasons, I always try to mix things up a bit. When it comes to the office, I end up wearing a lot of black and gray. By the time winter is over, I am just tired of those colors and I end up picking out all the pastel colors from my closet I can wear to work and still look professional. When I found these tie-waist trousers I knew they would be a great addition to my spring office wardrobe!
These tie-waist trousers (or paperbag trousers as the are otherwise known) are such a pretty pink color. However they also come in 10 other colors too! And at under $33 for these pants, you can have them in more than one color. These pants I find are true to size. I am wearing a small and these fit just as they should in the waist. They are just a tiny bit long for my petite frame, so I actually just folded them under a bit and they stayed that way all day. They are a bit on the thinner side, but they are so comfortable I didn’t want to take them off after wearing them all day at work!
The tie-waist trend has been very popular for the last year. Tie-waist pants are nice because you can adjust how they fit, and they add an element of style to otherwise ordinary pants. See more of my favorite tie-waist pants below:
With tie-waist pants, you really want to show off your waist. So a shirt tucked in looks really nice with these kinds of pants. I am wearing a simple white cami similar to this one. Since the weather hasn’t exactly been warm, I am also wearing this Loft ribbed cardigan. If you are reading this post soon after I published it, then this cardigan in 50% off as part of the Loft storewide sale (and free shipping too!).
I’m so glad I decided to branch out a bit when it comes to my office style. And I received so many complements when I wore this outfit to work!
As always, thanks for stopping by!
