Office Friendly Looks for Fall
With fall finally upon us, it is time for a wardrobe refresh. As a working professional, office attire is what I wear most days of the week. While spring workwear was all about floral skirts, scalloped designs, and bell sleeves, fall outfits are all about adding color, putting together layers, and of course staying warm! In today’s post I am showing you three inspiring office looks for fall that can be worn season after season!
J. Jill Wearever Pleated Front Dress
This J. Jill Wearever dress is the perfect dress to wear year round, either dressed up or casual. The cranberry red color really reminds me of a crisp, cool autumn day. This dress is feminine in design, and the pleated details are very flattering and drape nicely.
To add a nice accent piece, I paired the dress with this Harvest Blossoms scarf. Scarves are such a nice way to add color and pattern to an otherwise plain outfit. I think this scarf is just what the dress needed!

J. Jill Ponte Knit Button Down Dress
You cannot go wrong with plaid in the fall! Plaid is one of those timeless patterns that never goes out of style. This J.Jill Ponte Knit Button-Trimmed dress is one of my favorites of the season!
This dress is nice for fall because it is made of a heavier material. It will keep you warm on a chilly day, and it doesn’t wrinkle! The windowpane pattern really does soften the look of an ordinary black dress. I am wearing my typical XS petite and the dress fits perfectly.
My favorite detail on this dress is the adorable button detail. Even better, this dress has pockets! To add a pop of color to the outfit, I am also carrying this J.Jill Daria crossbody bag. This bag is just the right size to carry your phone, keys, wallet, and of course a tube of lipstick.
I received so many complements on this dress when I wore it! It will definitely be on repeat this season.

J. Jill Ponte Knit Boyfriend Jacket
You cannot go wrong with a blazer in the fall. Of all the pieces in my closet, blazers are what I keep the longest. This J. Jill Ponte Knit Boyfriend Jacket is nice because it has the structure of a blazer, but is made of a really soft knit rayon and spandex material. This is a relaxed blazer, which means it looks great with pants or a skirt for work. However it would also work just as well with jeans for a weekend casual look.
This rose quartz pendant adds such a nice touch to this outfit. The gold and silver accents in the piece work well with any other jewelry you happen to be wearing. And it comes with a fully adjustable waxed-cotton cord.
I absolutely love these Ponte Knit Slim Leg pants. It is made of the same spandex/rayon material as the plaid dress I am wearing. These pants are thicker, so I would definitely wear them on a colder day. I am wearing a 2P but I probably could have gone down to a 0P as these pants are fairly stretchy. And I love the soft plaid pattern!
So I hope this post has given you lots of inspiration for your fall office attire this season. As always, thanks for stopping by!

These are all great choices. I really like the red dress, but red has always been my favorite color. And the blazer is perfect for almost any outfit.
Love them all, but for me the second look is my fav. Like the simplicity of the look and would make great day to early evening wear xx
Very nice office outfit looks. I like the pants and jacket look, but they all of great!
I am definitely about outfit three! But that’s just because I have been loving pants lately and haven’t wanted to wear dresses in ages. I still love how dresses look though, the second one especially.
Such a beautiful outfit for work. Perfect style and great choice. Love the blazer.
Plaid is definitely and “in” fashion as soon as the first leaf turns and I like this style more so than the tighter plaid. Loving the dress by the way, red is my absolute favorite color (all shades of red) and you look lovely in it!
Those looks are all gorgeous. Not for me since I work from home (LOL!) but perfect for anyone who leaves their home to go to work! 🙂
What pretty, pretty stylish office looks for fall that you have chosen. They are all so classy and I love that. I believe the first dress is my favorite because of the color and the flirty hem at the bottom. Fun!
I love the first two dresses! The window pane style is so cute!
I love the j.crew dress! That windowpane print is so pretty and trendy right now and I love dresses that are a little thicker for this time of year. 🙂
Ah these are some gorgeous looks! I love the red dress the most, it’s so stunning. I really love fall fashion!
Burgundy is one of my favorite colors to wear – so I am very partial to that look. All of them are stunning though!
