As I have been writing this post, it has done nothing but rain the entire day here. I know it really is finally time to put away the summer clothes and break in the fall ones. I am actually pretty excited about fall, both for all the fun thing there are to do during the season, and because of the change in clothing. My obsession with stripes continues in this post, and I finally get to wear one of my favorite plaid scarfs from Nordstrom. Just like many of you who read this post are doing, I’m sure, I have also been amassing a sizable collection of plaid scarves. I can’t seem to get enough of them! Every time I look, I see a new pattern or color I like. And they are so versatile and add color and interest to any outfit.
I paired this with my petite-friendly Hudson ‘Muse’ cuff crop jeans. I remember a time as a teenager and in college when cuffed jeans were so out of style, but now they are again. It’s a good thing too for the petite women in the world. I am wearing this in a size 26 and they required no alterations, which is a rarity for me.
The purse for this post is actually the purse I use every single day. I have lots of purses for special occasions, but for everyday use, few purses can beat the durability and versatility of a Louis-Vuitton Monogram purse. My husband got me this one last Christmas. It is just so practical and holds everything I need for work, including my lunch box. Before that I had a different one (the Petite Bucket Bag) that I literally used every day for ten years. Louis-Vuitton is still selling the style brand new even now so I wasn’t particularly worried about my purse being out of style. I got my money’s worth out of that one, and I fully expect to do the same thing with this one.
Thanks for looking!
