Aveda Invati Advanced™ System Review
I like big hair and I cannot lie. Ever since I was in college, I have liked big, voluminous hair with soft waves. My hair overall is thin and fine (though I have a lot of it) and this can always be a challenge! In the past I resorted to using lots of mousse and hairspray, but after using the Aveda Invati System, this is no longer the case. Invati Advanced™ Solutions for Thinning Hair is an innovative system that reduces hair loss by 53% (when used for 12 weeks) and instantly thickens the hair when applied once daily. I have been using it for about two months now, and I can definitely tell a difference in how my hair looks and feels.
The Aveda Invati System is a three step system that works together to make hair thicker and fuller, and to ultimately reduce hair loss. The three steps include exfoliation, thickening, and activating.
Step 1: Exfoliation
Exfoliation is necessary to remove dead skin cells and renew the scalp. The Invati advanced™ exfoliating shampoo accomplishes this with wintergreen-derived salicylic acid. This nourishing formula works to cleanse the hair. A plant-based conditioner within the shampoo and also works to detangle it for soft, smooth hair.
Step 2: Thickening
Invati advanced™ thickening conditioner with certified organic amla works to instantly thicken the hair. Naturally derived amino acids mimic hair’s building blocks to help strengthen al the way from the roots to the ends. This is a light conditioner so I do notice this conditioner effectively moisturizes my hair without being too heavy. My hair is thick and full, and this lasts the entire day!
Step 3: Activation
Invati advanced™ scalp revitalizer reduces hair loss (when used continuously for 12 weeks) to help keep the hair you have longer. This innovative formula is a blend of tangerine peel and Japanese knotweed that penetrates skin to help support hair’s natural keratin.
So in practice how do I use this system? At night I shampoo and condition my hair with the Invati shampoo and conditioner. I put it in a clip and sleep with it wet. My hair is still damp when I wake up in the morning. I then apply Aveda Brilliant™ damage control™ pre-styling spray to my wet hair. I then apply the Invati advanced™ scalp revitalizer to my wet hair. After drying my hair until it is 80% dry I then apply Aveda’s volumizing tonic. Then I curl, style, and tease the roots and finish with some hairspray. My hair remains full and voluminous the entire day by doing this, and even maintains that volume into the following day!
As always, thanks for looking!
