A Classically Feminine High Waisted Skirt from Romwe
When left to my own desires, I almost always prefer to wear dresses and skirts. Being petite with a 27″ inseam, I just think that dresses and high waisted skirts complement my body much more than jeans or slacks. So when Romwe contacted me to collaborate with them on a blog post, I decided to wear their Champagne High Waisted Pleated Flare Skirt. Romwe is an Asian company that sells very affordable, stylish clothing. They have a huge selection to choose from, and it can take some time to find clothing that appeals to you. Overall I have had a very positive experience with Romwe. I ordered once before from the company and shipping was rather quick (less than two weeks) for a company that was shipping overseas.
Now back to the skirt. I am wearing a size small (I have a 25″ waist) and it fit ‘perfectly’. I wouldn’t want to wear this skirt after eating a large meal, as it fit with very little wiggle room. So if you are in between sizes, I do recommend sizing up. The skirt is thick, lined and very well made. And at under $30 it is a great value. I was a little worried about taking these pictures in this skirt in the cold weather, but because it is thick I actually stayed very warm in it. I paired this with the Ann Taylor Ruffle Cuff Sweater. The ruffle sleeves add to the feminine styling of the skirt. The necklace is from Kate Spade (I purchased this during the Kate Spade Black Friday sale and got it at a great price). The shoes are from Via Spiga and I just love how comfortable they are! Overall this is a look that could be worn to work as a professional outfit or as evening date attire.
Thanks for looking!
