Hunter Tour Boots Review
Ever since I became a fashion blogger, I have looked at other fashion blogs for inspiration. I have discovered so many brands I would have never previously considered because I see other bloggers wearing their clothing. The inspiration for today’s outfit is actually Jean from Extra Petite. I like her style because it is so much like my own, timeless and classic. She has good ideas about what to wear for work as well as more casual attire, which, as a working professional I really like. Last year she posted about her favorite red Hunter Tour Boots several times, and I just love the way they add an elegant pop of color to any outfit. So I decided to buy some of my own.
I really liked the idea that Jean had to pair the red Hunter Tour boots with a red plaid scarf to bring an outfit together. So that is what I did in this post. I wore a cashmere sweater that I purchased from Theory over the summer when it was on serious markdown. Unfortunately the sweater is sold out now, but you can still find many similar options now. Over the sweater, I wore another drape front cardigan in gray from Nordstrom. The scarf came from Sole Society and I just love that it isn’t too bulky and is pure wool.
As for the Hunter Tour boots, I really do like them. They are probably the most comfortable pair of boots I own. These boots are made for the rain, but would also work for snow. My only critique is that they come up rather high on my legs, but that is only because I have really short legs. I probably would do better with the kids version. Because these boots do not have a higher heel they make my legs look even shorter than they are. In the future I will counter balance this with some higher waisted jeans. Overall though I am keeping them because I like the way they feel, and I can see myself wearing them again in the future.
Thanks for looking!
