A Navy Lace Dress is a Classic
My style always has and always will be timeless and classic. My home, my clothing, and my photography uniformly reflect this style. So when I began searching for timeless, classic wardrobe pieces that would last for several seasons, a navy lace dress came to mind. First of all, navy is such a classic color that has been popular for decades and it can be worn throughout each season. Furthermore, lace has been popular for centuries, and adds such a feminine detail to almost anything. A navy lace dress is versatile, and can be worn as evening attire, or with a blazer even for work. There are so many choices available for navy lace dresses, that I had a hard time choosing one. In the end, I chose the ParkerNY Melissa Combo Dress. I knew that this would be a dress that would last me for years to come.
ParkerNY clothing is extremely well made, with attention to detail I have seen from few other clothing manufacturers. So I knew that I would not be disappointed in my purchase. I am wearing this in an XS and it required no alterations. This dress is a midi length dress, and was probably a touch long on me, but I was OK with the longer length. The dress is lined with a navy fabric and I wore a simple strapless bra (this one, which I love!) underneath it. To complete the outfit I wore my Steve Madden Stecy sandals in nude and a simple Nadri necklace.
If ParkerNY is not to your tastes, there are so many other ones that I think are nice. Of course, the Self Portrait dresses (such as this one) are amazing, if price is of no concern. Another great, more affordable option is by Aqua, a brand exclusively carried at Bloomingdales. And of course ASOS always has a large selection. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of these dresses.
Thanks for looking!
