Everlane Kick Crop Jeans Review

If you follow this blog regularly, you have seen that Everlane is one of my favorite brands to wear (see this post). In case you aren’t familiar with Everlane, this is an American company that is best known for it’s exceptional quality products (produced in ethical factories around the world) at amazing prices. Everlane prides itself on “radical transparency”. This is a concept that revolves around showing you everything that goes into making clothing, bags, and shoes. Everlane strives to show you the true cost of each product (including materials, labor, and transportation). I have a lot of Everlane tops, pants, and shoes, and I’ve never been disappointed in anything that they make. So when I saw Everlane introduce their petite-friendly Kick Crop jeans, I knew I wanted to buy a pair!

Say Goodbye to Skinny Jeans

As popular as skinny jeans are, I will be the first to tell you I will be glad to see this trend “sort of” go by the wayside. For years I wore bootcut jeans as I just liked that they made my legs look longer. While skinny jeans are nice, I do like jeans with more of a straight leg profile, especially when wearing sandals or boots.  If you don’t want to go full-on bootcut, but like a little flare to your denim, then the Kick Crop jeans are perfect!

These jeans really do make you look taller. I like that they are high-waisted as this has the effect of slimming down my hips and midsection. The slight flare at the ankle really does make these jeans flattering. These jeans are true to size, and I am wearing my typical size 26. These jeans do have a raw hem so you can cut them to your desired length. I however left them as-is because the 26’5″ inseam is perfect for my height.

These jeans really do look great on just about any body type! I think they look even better from behind. They are very similar to the Cheeky Straight Jean that I have posted about before (see this post).  They are made of Everlane’s premium 11 oz Japanese denim with a touch of stretch. When I wore these I went out for dinner for a big Mexican meal and these jeans definitely stayed comfortable. These jeans come in five different colors (including black and white). I am wearing the light blue wash here.

Free People Central Park Cardigan Top

These jeans would look great either with a t-shirt or a blouse. They are so easy to dress up with block heels or dress down with sneakers. Here I am wearing it with this Free People button down blouse. I love the soft pink color and the soft rib knit looks almost like a bodysuit. And it is on sale for under $20 now too!

I love just about every style of jeans that Everlane makes. For a classic look, you can’t go wrong with the High-Rise stretch skinny jeans. For another leg-lengthening option I also like the High-Rise cigarette jeans. And for the warmer weather, their classic denim shorts are really nice.

Overall, I just can’t say enough good things about the Kick Crop jeans. You will definitely be seeing me wear these on repeat throughout the year!

As always, thanks for stopping by!
