J. Crew Factory Spring/Summer Arrivals
Happy Saturday (that is if you are reading this post on the day I published it)! I am happier about this weekend than most, as the kids had their last day of school today.Which means we officially kick off summer vacation. We are still in the tail end of spring, and it is hard to believe summer is a week away. So today I wanted to show you some of my favorite spring and summer styles from J. Crew Factory. I’ve been on a J. Crew Factory kick lately, as they just have so many cute looks for the warmer weather, not to mention some great sales. Right now they are having their Stock Up sale, where you can get 20% off 2 items, 30% off three items, and 40% off four items with code STOCKUP. Not to mention all dresses are up to 40% off and all sale items are at least 50% off. I’ve taken the opportunity to buy a few spring dresses, as well as shorts and tops.
Button Front Dress in Seersucker
I am always a sucker for stripes! So when I saw this button-front dress in seersucker stripe, I knew it had my name written all over it. The soft blue color is just so pretty, and the button front detail is such a nice touch. Sizing is true to size, and I am wearing my typical size 0 and it fits great. And it is reasonably priced at under $45, not including any discounts.
This is one of those dresses that is perfect for a spring or summer lunch date. I wore it for our Mother’s Day lunch with the grandparents on our trip to Holland, Michigan. We did quite a bit of walking that day, so I was glad to be wearing these comfy red espadrille wedges.
The day was a bit chilly, so I was also glad I brought this pretty floral scarf. It complements the dress and shoes well. And even though it is lightweight it is surprisingly warm. I received so many compliments the day I wore this!
J. Crew Factory Cotton/Linen Scalloped Shorts
On the spring/summer weekends, you will see me wearing shorts and a comfy top the most. I just love these soft and comfortable linen/cotton shorts from J. Crew Factory. The scalloped detail at the hem gives these shorts a fun and whimsical feel. These are the kind of shorts that are so easy to dress up or dress down. Sizing is true to size, and I am wearing my typical size 2 here. I am wearing black, but they also come in white, green, coral, and periwinkle. They are priced at under $37, not including any sale discounts.
I just love the color combination of black and pink! The sweater I am wearing here is made of a lightweight cotton fabric that is great for the spring and fall. It looks by itself tucked into jeans or shorts, but also makes a great layering piece in colder weather.
J. Crew Factory Basketweave Scallop-Edge Dress
The last dress I wanted to show you is one I have been wearing to the office, though it works for any somewhat formal occasion. I love the look of a crisp white dress in the springtime. The scallop detail gives this dress so much charm. And it is so easy to dress up with accessories too!
If you are flat-chested like I am, I do recommend sizing down a size, as it is roomy in the chest. This dress is definitely petite-friendly, as the regular size falls just above my knees. I am wearing white, but this dress also comes in pink and black. It does tend to wrinkle easily, so I recommend ironing it and spraying with generous amounts of starch before you wear it.
This lightweight cardigan in bright pink adds the perfect amount of contrasting color to the crisp white dress. I really like this sweater! It is soft and comfortable, and perfect for a long day at the office. I am wearing the color “brilliant azalea” but it comes in array of colors that works for so many outfits.
So I hope you enjoyed today’s post! And as always, thanks for stopping by!
