How to Become a Classroom Hero

With August in full swing, we are trying to enjoy every last minute of summer vacation that we can! At the same time my kids love school and they are so excited to go back to the classroom in just a few short weeks. They love shopping for new school clothes and of course all the school supplies they need for the school year. Each year the teachers send out a list of things our kids need for the classroom, which is always so helpful. What they don’t always ask for, though, are those classroom necessities that everyone uses. With school budgets becoming tighter and tighter, often times they dip into their own pockets to buy the things for the classroom. And I will tell you I don’t want that to happen!

Kleenex Tissues for the Classroom

It seems like the classrooms my kids have been in go through a box of tissues a day! So what better way to give back to the classroom than to buy extra tissues so they never run out of them. Luckily you can find bulk Kleenex® Facial Tissues at Costco just in time for the school season. I am pretty picky about my tissues, and in my opinion Kleenex® Facial Tissue is the best! And in the Made to Give More boxes you can find at Costco you get 10-12 boxes of tissues per bundle, depending on the pack! And each box of tissues contains 43% more tissues per box than the best-selling Kleenex tissue box in rest of market (160ct box).

Even better, Costco members will save $4.50 on the Kleenex bundle pack from 8/7 – 9/1 at Costco, both in stores and online. Members will see this discount on the price tag in the warehouse and will be applied at the register.

Be a Role Model for Your Kids

I like to help out with my kids’ classrooms wherever I can. Not only does it help the teachers and the school, but also it shows my kids that I am involved and that I care. And showing you care is being a great role model for your kids. As a working mom, it isn’t easy to be in the classroom during the day. So I participate/volunteer in all the extracurricular activities that I can. And I try to donate to my kids’ classrooms too! The Kleenex® Facial Tissue Made to Give More bundle pack you can find at Costco is the perfect way to do so.

  1. You’re so considerate to think about teachers. I’ve never thought about it but- Yes, it is true that we often reach into our pockets to buy stuff for the classroom. It’d be great if all parents would be more interested in helping their children by taking more interest into their classrooms and what they need for school. Sometimes little details can make a difference…We should do all we can to motivate kids for studying. Children always feel more special when parents take interest in their school work.

    1. Ivana…You are so completely right! Having an involved parent makes all the difference in the world when it comes to academic success.
