Parker NY Brooklyn Dress

This is my final post about our trip to New York City last month. There are just so many things to do in NYC, but one of the things I wanted to do there was visit the Brooklyn Bridge. I’ve heard so many things about one of the most iconic structures in NYC, that I made it a point to see it. We were staying in Soho (see my first post here about our hotel experience) and we used Uber to take a quick ride to the bridge. This was the day before July 4th, so the bridge was quite packed with people! The bridge is such an impressive sight to see, and you can also see wonderful views of the city on it. It is definitely a tourist attraction, but I was so glad to finally get to see it!

The dress I am wearing, the Brooklyn Dress from Parker NY is one of my favorites of the season! The two shades of stripes make this dress so distinctive. The feminine ruffles and tie sash at the waist make this dress flattering for any figure.  With a pair of strappy sandals this dress is perfect for a summer date night or garden party. I thought it was fairly ironic to wear this dress at the Brooklyn Bridge, but it was perfect for our date in Little Italy that night too.

This dress is definitely petite-friendly. I am wearing a size 2 and it fit perfectly without any alterations. My sandals, which I have worn so many times this summer, are the Raye Lulu heel. These heels are my favorite because they are a nice comfortable block heel, and they are neutral enough that they can be worn with many different outfits.

The best thing about this dress is that it is on sale now! I paid full price when I bought it, but now it priced almost $100 off the original price. All sizes are still available as well.

  2. That dress is devine and I love all the little details that make it unique, without being over the top. It fits you perfectly. One day when we get to NYC, I will have to remember that the Brooklyn bridge is something to see. ?
