Marks and Spencer Pure Cotton Trench Coat
I have been looking for a navy trench for quite some time now. Getting a Burberry one had crossed my mind, but I didn’t really want to be spending that kind of money on a navy trench. I had seen several different brands online but wasn’t really impressed with the quality. When I stumbled upon this navy trench from Marks and Spencer and I knew instantly it was the one I wanted. The classic tailored fit I knew would work well with my petite frame. The cotton construction I knew would be durable as well. And the price (at under $100 with a 20% off coupon when you sign up for emails) was right! When I finally received this coat in person, I was not disappointed! I have several Burberry coats, and the quality of this coat is comparable. This is definitely a trench that will last for multiple seasons. I am wearing a UK size 8 (which translates to a 2/4 in US sizes).
Marks and Spencer is located in London, but they offer free express shipping. I received this trench less than five days after I ordered it too. I have often ordered items from Europe, and I have always been impressed with the shipping times. Companies there often use shipping companies such as DHL and in many cases I have received items within two days, which is often faster than Amazon Prime!
Maggy London Zana Sheath Dress
So what goes well with a navy trench? I have always been drawn to the color combination of navy and yellow. These two colors complement each other because they are opposite each other on the color wheel, and when worn together this creates striking contrast. So I decided to wear this navy trench with a simple navy and yellow floral sheath dress from Maggy London. The trench with the dress together create a classic look with a stunning colors! Of course you could also wear this trench with white, or lighter shades of blue. I just love Maggy London dresses, and I think this, this and this dress would also look great with this trench.
