NEW YEAR’S EVE OUTFIT INSPIRATION | Annette Side Slit Sequin Dress
It is hard to believe Christmas is only twelve days away! I have most of my Christmas shopping done, but now I just have to make sure to hide the gifts from the kids and get everything wrapped. Before we know it Christmas 2019 will have come and gone. But before we can catch our breath it seems, New Year’s Eve is right around the corner. So today’s post is all about New Year’s Eve outfit inspiration. I don’t often have the chance or reason to dress up in sequins, but holiday parties are the perfect occasion to do so. Dress the Population always has amazing sequin dresses, and this year the Annette side slit sequin dress is my favorite.
What girl doesn’t want to dress up in sequins on occasion? This dress is just so pretty , I wish I had more places/events to wear it to throughout the year. This Annette sequin side slit dress fits TTS and is not too long that petite women can’t wear it. I am wearing an XS and this dress fits perfectly. I am wearing the silver electric blue color here and I just love the shimmering ice blue color! This dress also comes in silver and a beautiful silvery magenta color.
Since the dress speaks for itself, I decided to keep accessories to a minimum. A simple metallic box bag is the perfect accessory. Simple strappy heels and a crystal pendant complete the look. I wore this dress for a dinner in downtown Detroit, and I received so many complements on it!
The side slit on this dress is what makes it so distinctive I think. And if you’ve got great legs, this dress is a great way to show them off!
While the Annette sequin side slit dress is a classic, there are so many other glittery and glamorous dresses that you can find this year. In addition to my outfit, I am also linking to a few other favorite dresses I’ve found this season. If a side slit dressis not your style this A-line sequin dress works so well! I love this classic velvet off the shoulder dress too. And this glam jumpsuit is what you need for a chilly winter evening! See below for more favorites:
So I hope today’s post has given you lots of inspiration for your New Year’s Eve celebration. Wishing you a happy and healthy new year as well!
