I hope everyone is having a great week. The first day of summer was Wednesday, and we’ve had gorgeous June weather to start the season. We are headed back to the beach later this week (since I forgot my camera when we went up to Northern Michigan). Thankfully we live on a peninsula so sandy beaches aren’t far away from us.
Today’s post is just one outfit. Ruffled tops are so on trend right now, and I finally found one I really liked. I’ve been eyeing Petersyn tops for quite some time, as I could tell by looking at them that their clothing was a cut above the rest. This Arabella one shoulder top happens to be my favorite! I love the exaggerated ruffle detail, as it just looks so feminine and chic. The top has a small gingham print, which has been so popular this season. These tops do run smaller, so I did size up to a small and it fit perfectly.
I decided to wear this top with a simple denim skirt and a black YSL belt. This top could also go with jeans (white or denim), or even shorts. My Ann Taylor Leda heels (back in stock) accented the belt. To add a slight pop of color I wore this red Valentino Rockstud flap bag. Such a fun look for any summer day!
